Peter Mayer

General Counsel

In Mr. Mayer’s role as General Counsel, he oversees all legal, compliance, and governance matters for Mustang.

Prior to joining Mustang, Mr. Mayer practiced at Dorsey & Whitney LLP in Minneapolis. At Dorsey, Mr. Mayer was a member of the firm’s Trial and Tax groups, specializing in structuring investment and business entities.

Mr. Mayer graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a B.S. in Economics. He received his J.D. cum laude from Northwestern University School of Law. During law school, he served as a judicial intern to Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

Mr. Mayer was recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch 2022.
